For a little change up – here’s what we’re fixing for today…again, feel free to add/take away depending upon your tastes.
Don’t forget to drink plenty of H2O throughout the day and don’t be afraid of a little caffeine if you need a pick-me-up – try sticking to black coffee or green tea.
Breakfast
Green Juice #2
Large handfull of spinach
1/4 cup each of cilantro & parsley
1 1/2 cups fresh pineapple and/or natural pineapple juice
juice of 1 lemon
In a food processor (or powerful blender) join all ingredients and blend. Enjoy cold.Warm Breakfast Quinoa – see Day 1 for recipe
Lunch
Rustic Cabbage Soup – already in the fridge!
Avocado & Grapefruit Salad
You’ll need:
a handful of chopped spinach and cilantro leaves
1 grapefruit, segmented
1 ripe avocado, sliced
S&P
1 T olive oil
Assemble all ingredients in a bowl & dress using a touch of olive oil, juice of both the grapefruit & lemon, S&P.
You’ll be surprised just how flavorful & filling this simple salad is.
Dinner
