Banana Almond Flax Smoothie

It is true! I’m doing a triathlon this July 14th as a member of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training. I’ll be raising money to help find cures and better treatments for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma. But I digress. Back to the smoothies!

This one is a personal favorite of mine, I’ve been having it almost daily for the past few weeks, it is just that good!

For one serving, you will need:

3oz (two big spoonfuls) plain yogurt
1 banana, broken into smaller pieces (preferably frozen!)
1 cup coconut water
1 heaping tbsp almond butter
2 tbsp flax seeds

Blend together either in a blender, (if you are fancy like Amy with her Vitamix you can use that!) or in a medium-sized bowl with an immersion blender. Enjoy!
