Searching through the fresh fruit that still remained un-blended in my fridge this morning I came up with this: two grapefruits, a half pint of raspberries, a couple of frozen bananas, and some organic orange juice.
I froze the raspberries to use next week (the smoothie streak continues…especially since Hillary just got me to sign up for a 10K run with her in two weeks! Yikes!) and blended the rest for a seriously refreshing citrus treat.
For 1 large smoothie, blend:
1 whole grapefruit, peeled, cut into large chunks
1 frozen banana
1 cup orange juice
A refreshingly easy way to get that Vitamin C!
